I need some help understanding how to embed fonts... My site is www.mykrob.com ( iknow it sucks, i'm just learning). After the initial animation stops, if you mouse over the buttons on the left, text should appear to the right of the button in the code3x font, which looks liek the writing on my logo, leteers under barcode.. I have tried this on a mchine that doesnt have the font installed, and it defaults to the users default font for some reason. I then tried what the manual says about Character Options and chose "Embed all characters", and now.... well see for yourself..

I have attached the FLA file for anyone who can help me figure out what i did wrong.. If you need the font, it is available at www.fontempire.com, again its called code3x

also, any tips on flash site design would be welcome...
thanks

You have 4 text boxes on the left, I can see code3x in the top text box but default font in the other three. Maybe, make sure that you have embedded your font outlines for all the text boxes.

Thanks for the response, I'll give it a try when i get home.
It seems to be working, but take a look at it on the website.. A lot of gibberish is shown when you first go to the site.. I'm not sure and wont know until i try later today, but if i set those variable to " " , maybe they will initialize to blank? we'llf ind out...

thanks again

Thanks for the input. Embedding the font outline for each dynamic box helped, as did defining the variables as " " in the first frame for clearing the gibberish that appeared.
