new portfolio site

Hi guys. I just launched a new version of my portfolio site, as well as redesigned my logo. This is the first site that I created for myself that I really love. I think this site shows my flash/actionscript maturity. Hope you guys feel the same.

You know what, not too bad. Functions nice, runs smooth, looks goodish-ok. So my opinions are strictly personal taste at this point. You did a great job. I think there needs to be a little more contrast with the elements in the site. Everything is black...and that red blog star...just doesnt fit. As I said, this is strictly personal taste. Its not too often you see a newer memeber post a site in site check that was done well. Be proud!

Thanks for your comments. I can't say that I'm new on these boards, my old screename was shakesula, joined in 2004. I'm the guy that wrote that XML photo burn in script a while back. I have about 6 years experience with Flash, so I'm not new there either.

I just love black, what can I say. The red blog burst thing is there to catch your eye, even though i havent finished my blog yet. I understand what you're saying though.

good, i like it , it needs somthing to make it a bit more lively, start with some subtle cool sounds for the buttons it feels a bit more sleepier than i personaly think it coudl benifit, mabey ad some kind of animation that flashed or does sumthing cool when I put my mouse over the items in the portfolio before it slides to detail!
