View Full Version : Flex 2 CS3 icon?

Guhh...I've got my flash, dreamweaver, and photoshop CS3 apps all nice and laid out on my dock....now my circular Flex 2 icon's looking ugly next to the clean square-shaped ones.

Is Adobe going to have an update or something that will update the Flex 2 icon as well?

Flex 2 was released well before CS3, and its old Macromedia Studio 8-style branding probably won't change. Flex 3 will be in public alpha in June, so it won't be too long before we get to see the new icon in action.

Why not place it to the left of flash?

..or maybe use some alternative icons:

Haha......well I put it in the middle to accentuate the awkwardness. =]

Anyway, I do like those alternative icons, but the back-lighting just feels a little too....tin-foiley for me.

I settled with just grabbing this icon for Flex:
