Using Flash with frames (HELP!!!)

I have 2 frames on my page. Both have .swf files on them.
The left side .swf is for navagation purposes. When you click on the button the new URL opens up in the existing frame. I am using _blank to direct it to a new window put it still opens up in the same frame as my navigation .swf
Please help

Most likely it's a syntax error:... your code should look like this:
getURL ("file.html", "_blank");
