Hi

we've got one problem with IceProjector (and although with the bug_demo). The whole player is drawn with (perhaps) 75 % alpha and is very slowly.
If there is another window then the desktop below the player you haven't a chance to see the IceProjector.
The player can't be moved or reacts on right klick.
The player vanishes if I try to make a screenshot.

Please see my screenshot. Sorry for bad qualitity but I have to made this pic with my digicam:

There are two possibilities to revoke the player:
1. The 95/98 compatibility mode
2. A change of resolution / colormode and change back

Both isn't very funny. Is there a possibility to set the 95/98 compatibility mode always on (fscommand or so)?

Greetings,
Dominik Pesch

Hi

I've just solved my problems with an update of my nvidea drivers to the latest detonator version.

Thanks,
dom

Hi, muuh,

Would you please list the detailed information of your display card & drivers ?

It will help other users to solve the same problem, and also help us to track the problem! Thanks!

There is no fscommand to keep the 95/98 compatibility mode always on. do you still need one ?

Hi Mentor Lee,

Would you please list the detailed information of your display card & drivers ?

Of course:

System: Windows 2000 (Version 5.0 Service Pack 2, Build 2195)
Memory: 768 MB RAM
Graphic: GeForce2 MX//MX 400, NVIDIA-kompatibel,
Resolution: 1280 x 1024 x 85 Hz, 32 bit
Driver-Version (with problems): 5.x or 6.0.x

This morning I remembered that an update of my screen-driver could solve my problem.
And after this update on the latest detonator-driver (see nvidia website) V. 6.13.10.2942 all works fine :D

There is no fscommand to keep the 95/98 compatibility mode always on. do you still need one ?

Perhaps it would be nice to have it or a compareable mode to ensure that a start-menu on a cd-rom production works to nearly 100 % client computers.

Please download iceProjector1.01 from http://www.flashants.com/download/download.shtml#iceProjector

and use

fscommand("fas.win.SIMULATE9X", "TRUE")

to keep the 95/98 compatibility mode always on
