hi all. i would like to make website templates (which is not the issue), and have them on a website so that people can download them and edit them with their information. now, i am assuming that most people in the world don't have flash, so there just has to be a method for allowing people to edit a flash "template" that i have created without the user having to use flash.
any help or is greatly appreciated. thanks.

got it. thanks, flash!
Hello,
I am doing exactly the same thing and have created a few xml driven templates for people to download from my website.
The template is saved as a Flash Projector (.exe) file and offers the 'Save', 'Run' or 'Cancel' pop-up box to the visitor when they click to download it.
However, the xml file doesn't give the user this option when they click to download it - it simply opens immediately in a new page of the browser.
I am using the getURL method for each file.
Any ideas how I can give the user the option of saving the xml file?
Thanks as always for any help anyone is able to offer,
David
