Flash Developer
Our client is looking for a Flash Developer to design, deliver, and support a highly scalable system for insertion and delivery of Rich Media Content supporting flash media player. The position would be responsible for contributing directly to all phases of development as well as collaborating closely with other members of the engineering team. The candidate would have to work along side of experimental AI research. This is a unique and well-funded start-up opportunity.
Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of Flash and ActionScript technologies
• Product experience in HTML and JavaScript languages
• Excitement to build something new and work aggressively to meet new goals
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to learn and excel in a fast-pace start-up environment
A plus
• Experience in streaming video and on-demand delivery of rich media content in Flash, Windows Media, QuickTime, and Real Media
• Experience with Java or SQL
• Working knowledge of XML
• Experience with content encoding/decoding software such as mPlayer, mEncoder
• Understanding of basic Internet protocols as well as related tools and technologies (e.g. web servers, web browsers)
• Basic knowledge of network architectures and network programming (e.g. RPC, SOAP)
• Engineering or computer science degree
