Hi all,
I've screamed, I've yelled, I've tried everything in the book to try to fix this problem. Google and forums have yielded no result.
I was doing some dynamic content in javascript and my swf file refuses to show up, eventually I narrowed all my problems down to the following. Here is the simplest sequence of events that yields the problem:
-created an *.flv movie file
-created an *.fla/*.swf file with FLVplayback
-created a custom skin, changed the skin path and flv path in the component inspector
-using dreamweaver, created the html file and inserted the swf
Now, this all works on the computer with flash 8 player (firefox and safari), but refuses to work on my computer with flash 9 player (firefox and IE)
The strange thing is, this was working prior to the weekend, and I have no idea what I could have possibly changed that could prevent this from working.
I checked:
-path/pathing (I created the files on a shared drive, renamed them, and created them again)
-browsers
-a js implementation
-different swfs (my XXXX_player.swf skin loads fine)
Note: The flv is 600+kb but the file is located on the network, I doubt that's the problem.
Anyone possibly have any ideas?
