Hi,

Does any one know of a piece of software that can import a wav file that has audio regions (i.e. cuepoints) and maintain these cue points, then the ability to convert the wav audio to flv without the need for inputting the cue points again.

The flash video encoder is pretty useless for this and I have been having a quick look at sorenson squeeze which is a bit more user friendly but doesn't seem to import the cuepoints.

Any ideas?

The end flv files are for audio only! No video is involved!

Thanks,
Paulie

Hello bumping an old thread.

I still havent solved this.

Are there any apps out there that can save flvs.

I have tried a demo of soundbooth but it doesnt seem to work as it is meant to. It always saves an xml file which I dont want - I want the audio cuepoints to be embeded

I need to open a wav - then put cuepoints in - then save the wav as an flv

Someone must know something about this? I need some audio app like soundforge that can save as an FLV

Have you looked at Sony Sound Forge? I'm not sure it will do exactly what you need, but is has a huge number of features and opens and saves to just about every file type known. I know it will export the cue points to a text file and I believe it will save them as metadata. Maybe that could be used to map new cuepoints into Flash.
Good luck!
