Hello, I'm trying to import into Flash a .mov video that contains audio. The movie uploads fine but the audio doesn't. Why is that???. Also, I can only import a movie to a newly created Fla not to an existing one. I'm using Flash 8 Professional...and I don't know what's going on here..
Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Ok, so it happens that when clicking on "options" I don't have the option to encode the audio. Is it possible that this is happening because I converted the movie from .mpg to .mov?

I just found out in Quicktime Pro that the movie I'm trying to import has not a audio track. Funny enough, it does have sound though. Any ideas?
thanks

Ok, I found the solution to this problem. I was using Quicktime Pro to export a .mpg movie file to .mov. When doing so, Quicktime didn't treat the audio separately and so it then didn't show up when importing the .mov into Flash as .flv. The solution to this, use another software to make the conversion. I've used MPEG Streamclip from http://www.squared5.com/.
There you go, in case you need it :D
My best,
