i seem to be having some kerning/tracking issues with text thats being passed into flash from cold fusion. Either directly from a CF page or from the database through cold fusion. im using flash remoting to do the passing of vars from CF to flash.
basically im just outputing text variables from the database in arial font size 11, but its causing the letter spacing to have large gaps in between. i want the text to output crisply like html, not fuzzy image style, so im trying to either set the text field as bitmap or device.
ive got the text field set to Bitmap text with fonts embedded.
i cant seem to use device fonts, no text will show up.
im not sure if this is me or just another text issue in flash.
i had so many text issues in flash including certain font sizes suddenly not working anymore...
