Yes, if you don't mind the better processing speed with AS3... ;)

I was playing around with it other day. Is there still no way to export a pdf from flash? or i have not found the button or something. :-|

Also i hope this version works better with text, past few days i have been running into really weird problems with flash 8 and its embed fonts that dont seem to want to work with AS stuff...

Flash CS3 starts up much faster than previous versions. For me, that was a great surprise after I upgraded. I don't think I could stand waiting for Flash 8 to start again.

CyanBlue, I started with MX 2004, so I wouldn't know.

Hehe... FMX2004 is whole lot slower than FMX and FMX2004 is whole lot faster than F8... So... :)

I just got Flash CS3 and i can't do anything. It crashes for everything. It crashes when I publish, it crashes when I want to see my action script pane.

I hate adobe.

Maybe it didn't install right.. Did you try to reinstall it?. Also what OS? and have you tried to install any other cs3 version product of adobe?

MAC OSX

Yes I installed it right
Yes I reinstalled it.

It has the trouble with publishing actionscript 2.0 stuff. And when I want to just open the actions pane. Still not sure what I am going to do about it.

Probably downgrade.

You used to (MX, 2004 and 8) be able to export a postscript listing by right-clicking on a rendered .swf file, choosing print from the dialogs, and printing to a postscript file. You could open the postscript in acrobat or illustrator no problem. The new version breaks this, and the color is not rendered correctly.

Why not export from flash a PDF? It seems like a good thing specially if flash can spit out a illustrator file why not a pdf... and now its the same company. Anyways... thats my 2 cents... regarding pdfs and flash..
