help with dopewars-like game

its basicly just a version of dopewars but made in flash. all it is is variables and all that but i really cant figure out how to use it....

oh, well i just want to make a version of dopewares on flash.

things like

"heroin - %cost"
if button1 is pressed and %cost > %money then msgbox "not enough money"

in actionscript. thats the kind of code im looking at learning and cant find an example so i made an example of the game and uploaded it to sendspace Here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/r4aruu)
