View Full Version : Good intro to flex 2?

Hello, My boss has me attempting to learn flex, and I think Ive found an ok project to try. I need to make something similar to the top of http://www.mavi.com/ss07/main.asp The images will be comming from a php page that makes the xml. I have that much working. Now I need to pick a component and figure out how to keep the stuff animated.

Does this sound like a reasonable flex project? I know it would probobly be better done in flash, but Im VERY rusty at flash and have no desire to touch up.

If it is, can someone help me out with some ideas on how to get things moving and to stay moving? What kind of control should the items be in? Heres what I have, although I have been back and forth messing around...
