Hi there, I'm not sure how many people would have experience with doing this, it doesn't seem overly complex but I'm running out of time and don't have time to test etc... so I'd greatly appreciate your help!

Basically, I have created a Flash Portfolio which will be put on CD and sent to various people using many different computers. It's set to load up the default .swf file using autorun, but not everyone is going to have the standalone flash player. Is there some way I can export it in a way that people will definitely be able to view it in a standalone player? Or perhaps a download somewhere?

I know as a last resort I can just include a .html page to start it up in, but I'd prefer to not do that if possible.

I have also exported the default file as an exe file, but as I have flash player installed myself, I can't test to see if it works without it still. I also don't know if I'd have to turn all the .swf files that are loaded by the default file into .exe files as well.

Apologies for such a simple question, but I would appreciate any feedback if you have any idea. Thank you!

An .exe (also called a projector file...) happens to hold it's own player, and that is why it's called a projector file...

If other .swfs on the CD are loaded in the main movie (.exe) file, then there should be no problem. If the user is meant to open up the files on their own, then possibly, that won't work if they don't have a standalone player...

If you're going to use autorun, make sure you check the following, because you need 2 different ones for Mac's & PC's...
