Importing swf file into another Flash project

I am trying to make a loader by going though one of the Tutorials on this site. I need to load the loader into another project so I can test it out. I export it to a swf file and then try to import it into the other project but I only get the one loading bar. Nothing else will inport. I test out the swf file and it works fine it has everthing in it. Flash is just not importing the hole then. Can anyone tell me what I doing wrong?

u got to include the file. coz there are more than one way to import external swf. not sure what to comment on not given the technique used.
