This is a preemptive strike. I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E suggests that a user known to authorities only as 'CyanBlue' is about to ...

Geeeeeez! What do we say?

How about "Get a life man!!!"?

Seriously though, we'd like to take a moment to acknowledge the phenomenal contributions which Jason (CyanBlue) makes to ActionScript.org. In addition to his amazing post count, he is constantly vigilant behind the scenes.

Whether he's moderating the Forums to ensure people play nice & get answers, or editing articles in the Content Management System before approving them, the site simply wouldn't be what it is without his efforts.

It was suggested recently that an interview with Jason to understand what makes him 'tick' would be a good idea, and I think it's an awesome idea. CB - I'll email you.

Both Strok and I would like to extend our personal thanks to you, mate. We'd also like to express our thanks with a small token of some kind. We're contemplating what right now.

I'd speak on behalf of the community too, but I think I'll let them do the talking themselves.

What do you say people?

I am simply returning the favor that I've gotten from may other kind people... and I am simply trying to help you guys to run this community as smooth as possible... I also know that there are whole lot more people who are doing the same and I really thank them for their dedication...

As for what ticks me off... It's rather simple... Those people who do not follow the rule, who think that we work for them, and who does not share what he has found out... I guess that's about it... Oh, and the strangers calls me weird names... :) (I'll get back to your email when I get home, Jesse...)

Oh... Besides that, Jesse paid half of my mortgage on my 10k post, so I've got to return the favor... I hope he did not forget he's going to send me to Hawaii for 20K post... :p

Well... The bottom line is that this place is the community which one person cannot run... We simply need to do what we can do to help this place grow better in quality and richer in content... :)

Not only are you one of the most helpful guys here, you are probably the most polite and friendly too.
I am totally amazed that English is not your native langauge, and I'm even more amazed that you managed to keep a wife during 20k posts.

(heh, and matt, he doesn't care for being called Cyan, which he even made a little joke about in the post right above yours...)

Oh, I'm not implying that you are man, just that I think that was what he was joking around about in his post.
About a third of his 20k posts have to do with "Its CyanBlue, not Cyan.", I wouldn't be surprised if he had it tattood somewhere.
But I don't wanna hijack his intervention with this anyways, Congrats again CyanBlue!

hi everyone, me also missing you and this place a lot
I am very sorry for not posting and participating anymore, but the city here (Dubai) is crazy. Days by pass faster than you begin to think what do you want to do.
I now follow up the whole MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region stock markets, and this driving me crazy, I have to go and visit these countries every now and then, which is killing me.

I - of course - come and visit here every month at least, but most of the time without logging in, but being away for so long giving me the feeling that I don't know Flash any more

It's one thing to be friendly, but it is not in this case because you digged up 3 month old thread which have more visibility in the eyes of spider and I don't think you know of anybody who you quoted/replied... That's why I asked that...

If you truly were trying to be friendly, try it some other way rather than replying one liner to a stranger... We do have a chitchat forum, but this basically is a developer centric forum, so that's got to give you an idea...
