I am trying to figure out if our server will support php script as I am looking to establish a mail form. Please give me the low down (everything you know) on php.

You can find out if your server supports PHP by going to http://www.php.net and seeing if there is a binary for your server program, or by contacting your host if you don't run a local server.
PHP is widely supported by most all commercial hosts nowadays, although many have not yet upgraded to PHP4.
PHP3 is fine for mail() though and pretty much everything else.
