My buttons won't work in my dropdown menu.. What have i done wrong?

Hello i've made a little sample .fla (flash 8) to show my problem

basically i have a drop down menu, which goes down fine.

but i want to have 2 buttons within that dropdown menu... which highlight when the user goes over them and then work when the user clicks them

What have i done wrong here? because they are not working within the dropdown, but work fine alone...

please may someone take a look?

The button handlers on the shirts mc itself, override any nested symbols' actions... Use a hitTest on the clip itself rather than button handlers...

do you have an example code of the handler i should be using, and where i should use it?

Nice menu system Atomic. This is not good. I have only been at this flash design for maybe a few months and I understand the coding now. This is not good. It means I am not golfing enough.

I am merely saying I am progressing far to quickly at this flash devel stuff and must promptly stop staying indoors and go play some golf. That is all. The menu system is well done.
