question cycles

i haven't even been here that long and i can already notice cycles in questions. about 5 weeks ago it seemed like everyone wanted to learn how to upload pictures with flash and php. a couple weeks ago everyone wanted a scrolling menu. now it seems everyone wants to learn how to dynamically load swfs, flvs and do stuff with them. anyone else notice this?

You'll get used to it. It comes in waves. Depending on what the hot design/functionality trend is for that month. Its like fashion!

Sort of like how when google suggests got noticed (not released), suddenly everyone wanted auto-completion in text fields, and then once it was old hat people didn't care about it anymore.
