rectangle transform?

Hello,

I'm trying to create a rectangle(movieclip) so I scale whenever I click on the corner while moving the mouse, or start drag when i click on the center of the rectangle?

any ideas how to accomplish this?

i'm currently using this to control my movie clips:

works really well, only missing a few features I've had to write myself (one still giving me trouble). its a really great tool though, definitely keeping it handy for future projects. :D
