This is a touphy...we are trying to create a shared video environment. What we are trying to do is play a movie in one browser and have the same movie playing in another. when you press play in one it pauses in the other. Basically so that you can watch the same channel but have one of the clients serve as a "moderator"

We have a good understanding of shared live video using web cams, however we need it to pull from a .flv file on the server instead. We are offering a cash reward for information and code leading to the answer.
Thanks...

This is my first post...I would enjoy the opoprtunity to talk with you. We are in the middle of a huge project with Warner brothers to bring all of their media content into the Second Life Metaverse. The shared video component of the project is kicken my butt...Maybe we could work together or I could hire you out...either way I'd like to show you what we have going on, I think you will be impressed...

Thanks,

I got to say, I would have been interested in this but a couple of things flag this as a "no no" for me:

Any professional knows not to crosspost on a forum.
Your English is quite bad for someone from the States named Kevin.
You say this is for Warner Brothers but offer a mere $100.
This is not a criminal investigation. You don't offer a reward for hints/coding "leading the answer". You simply pay a fee.
You just called the people trying to help you a "weiner".

Now look back at your thread; does this in the least look professional? It's guaranteed to be a headache and the freelancer is going to get screwed royally.

btw, thanks for your PM Kevin. Sorry if this came out as judgemental as you said, but my intentions were 2 fold.

1) Let you know how a freelancer might percieve your post.
2) Share my experience with other freelancers.

I'm not discouraging anyone from taking this, I just know that I wouldn't.
Best wishes.
