Embedded unicode fonts

Have you guys experienced an issue with CS3 font embedding?

If in Flash 8 you had a font instance in a library and a TextField on a Stage that used that particular font you had to use TextField.embedFonts property to make it work. Now in CS3 it works in a similar way but without unicode support. All the chars out of the Latin 1 scope are not being embedded.
Is it a CS3 compiler bug?
