default background color

I have an application to which I have already set the usepreloader = fasle but I still get a quick flash of the default green Flex color on start up. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I thought that by not using the preloader, it would go away but no luck.

My application has a background color of white...

I'm unsure what method you're using but I'm using the Eclipse JDK in Linux to develop. Within my project properties there's an 'Additional Compiler Arguements' field where I can enter '-default-background-color #FFFFFF' to change the movie's background colour to whatever I need.

I'm hoping that there's some similar property field in whatever software you're using.
