View Full Version : The old work space size issue

Editing some of my clips and objects in my movie has become difficult as suddenly my workspace (I'm calling workspace to the white area on the stage where objects are visible and editable) has been restricted to a corner of my screen, leaving out of reach some important elements.

I've seen posts on this issue, but they're for older versions of flash than MXPro. Is there something that can be done in MXPro (or later versions) for solving this?

Cheers!

Howdy and Welcome... :)

Check out the 'View' menu where you can select/deselect 'Work Area' menu item...

Moving to Flash 8 forum... Please post the question to the appropriate forum... :)

get another monitor. i have my actionscript window on the right 19" monitor and "everything else" on the left 19" monitor. :)

PLENTY of real estate.

Well... I am using 3 monitos for Flash, but there isn't much you can do other than placing the stage on one monitor and another for the Actions panel...

Well... I have 4 monitors right now... But I can only use 3 for Flash...
Yeah... I know this is excessive, but company is paying for it, so... ;)

Thanks! It helps: I can now see and select the elements beyond the XY size of the movie. (Now I'm going to search for monitors)
