I'm looking for interesting materials - and ideally "how to..." tutorials - for educational applications of flash. I'd like to get as many ideas for interactive learning as possible, then whittle them down to ones I can actually use. Googling has been surprisingly unsuccessful, can anyone point me in the right direction.
If anyone knows of any books in this area, that would be particularly useful.
TIA:)

Sorry Cyan, I knew my request was a bit vague when I wrote it. What I'm after are the sort of things that teachers do with Flash (or might do with Flash if they knew how), so for example, quizzes, drag and drop matching activities, multimedia stuff with an educational bent and so on.
I work in a college and I'd really like to be able to spice up some of our online materials, and I'm looking for inspiration. It's a long shot, but maybe someone on here can help?
I hope this is a little clearer (though I can see maybe it isn't!) :D

I just did a quick google with 'flash quiz component template' and these came up...
http://www.learningcircuits.org/2004/jul2004/hess.htm
http://www.peachpit.com/guides/content.aspx?g=flash&seqNum=354&rl=1
Those 'could' give you some idea on how to easily create simple Flash quiz by using the built-in components/templates, but I don't know how much it can tell you how to add 'extra' stuff on your materials...
I think it's whole lot easier for you to come up with some ideas and ask us how to achieve them and we can help you better on that...
Oh, it's CyanBlue not Cyan... ;)
for many the best way to learn is through fun / education material....
you might do a search for flash games, check through the hundreds available and think about how they might be adapted to an educational environment.
pick a couple that look promising, and start asking your questions in the various forums. you will find lots of help here. :)

Thanks guys,
I never knew there were 'educational' templates within Flash - very handy, I'll have a play with those.
The games route is an interesting one, I think that's an excellent idea and one that I'll look into over the weekend.
It's great to know I can come here and there are such helpful people. :)
Cheers
Paul
PS. Sorry for shortening your name CyanBlue. Won't happen again. :o
