It all makes sense now!!!
The iphone was badly slated for it's internet connectivity!
So why did apple not make use of what they have done with the new ipod?
Would it be because the new the new ipod was sitting in the wings with it's internet connection using local wifi hotspots to connect to the net?
Think about it.
Why would they NOT want to add this to the iphone when they are due to release a new ipod 6 months later?
More sales
If they had added this to the iphone then there would have been no need to release a new ipod for some time.
How many ipod suckers are there out there rushing off to by the new ipod?

What do you mean about internet connectivity? The iphone as far as I know had the exact same wifi support that the new ipod touch has. Although I'm not sure if you can get the itunes music store on the iphone now like you can on the ipod.

All i herd when the iphone came out was how it sucked at internet connectivity
and that there where other phones in the market that could do thew same or if not better for less than what they where asking for the iphone.

All I can say is that I cannot even afford that bloated piece of crap... I don't even have a phone to play with the FlashLite... Why would I spend extra to get the iPhone??? Hm...

i just want a phone to make calls... I hate phones with a lot of inutile options and applications.
What i have is a phone this old nokia phone (http://l.yimg.com/www.flickr.com/images/spaceball.gif) with 5 days battery life (original battery). I can use this phone also in the mountain or in the city (i get signal almost in the basement).
What i just need is a smaller version of my phone... Let's make thing clear: Camera for photos, laptops and pc for applications and games, and cellphone for calls.

3pepe3: you want the nokia 1100. It's just a phone, nothing more, with excellent battery life, and it's really cheap. Good luck finding it though.
Personally, I like to not have to lug around half a world of gadgets, so I want my phone to do the following:
- handle phone calls and text messages (duh)
- play music
- handle mail (adequately enough to search, read and respond)
- handle light browsing (movie reviews, news sites, ...)
- some puzzle games for when I'm waiting somewhere
I've got an ipod and a laptop, and used to have a camera, and none of those I carry with me. I already use my phone as a convergence device, because it means I don't have to lug around a heavy toolbelt or backpack.

jajajaja... you are right jsebrech about the heavy toolbeld or backpack.
But when I go out I love to leave behind all the technology.
Almost my cell phone is in silence and i reply calls when somebody tried to contact me.
Maybe i'm a weirdo:eek:

I've become too much of a tech addict to leave it behind. I'm trying to kick the habit though. I forget my cell phone on purpose once or twice a week.
