Recently I released a game and I've spent a tremendous amount of time over these past months researching sponsorships and other ways to capitalize on your game. I still have a LOT more work to do but I believe it has reached a point where it will have value to other developers. So I wanted to release it now and start getting additional input from people as I more forward.
In addition to my thoughts I also have a writeups from John at CrazyMonkeyGames, Greg from Kongregate and Joe from ArcadeTown. There is also an article from Simon at Ezone.com (a successful independent game company) that will try to convince you that a sponsorship is not the best approach.
Please let me know what you think of the site!

Well its very informative and makes you think about what you want to do with your games that you produce. It was a great effort - but I guess it really only comes down to the users choice. But I liked it as it wasn't too opinionated to what you think about the idea which really helps the readers to their own concise choices. Good job and I'll think twice about sponsorship deals.

Thanks Bount! I'm glad you found it helpful. :)
I've got some great new content on Flash Game Sponsorship (http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/)
Kongregate's Premium Game Program (http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/kongregatePremium.html) (they will fund your game 20k-100k and you will keep all IP)
Flipline Studios (http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/indieDeveloperPerspectiveFlipline.html) (creator of Papa Louie) - offers tips & advice on promoting your game if you publish it yourself.
MochiAds (http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/mochiAds.html) - In game advertising system to help you earn extra revenue while your game travels across the internet. They will also help distribute your game.
XGenStudios (http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/portalPerspectiveXGenStudios.html) - Article on sponsorships and publishing opportunities. They are focusing on MP games and even have a custom server MMOcha they are making available.
Also, I'm trying to compile a list of games and how much they received in sponsorship. This will be a huge help for new developers to gauge the value of their work. If you are willing to share these details (check with your sponsor first) please contact me (http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/requestForHelp.html)!

Very informative. I came away with a lot more information on sponsorships and licenses then I had when I first clicked the link. It gives me a lot to think about.
At the moment I'd be happy with anyone just liking my game. Wanting to pay me for my game? Wow, that'd be a kewl experience...
Thanks for the site, I'll be bookmarking that one.

Just a comment, I think your site should have some area for people to submit their experiences... (if I missed it and its there, I apologize)...
But I just got done (for the most part) with arcadetown... and there was just a lot that happened I didn't expect to happen that I wish I had been warned about that I think only developers themselves could contribute.... just a suggestion though

There was this page on his site:http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/requestForHelp.html (http://http://www.flashgamesponsorship.com/requestForHelp.html)
Which requested you tell your experience. I'd like to hear what happened, though I'm pretty far away from being in that situation.

Hey no problem, man. I look forward to seeing your future updates. Perhaps the site can go great. You should advertise - it is a great help for those unsure of what to do. Making a few topics on New Grounds, maybe?

I'll gladly listen to any experience. The site is not meant to be focused on portals... it is meant to be a balanced look at sponsorship and helping people decide if they want to explore that path.
If you have a review to give a specific sponsor I would recommend
The Sponsor Review (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/722868) thread on NewGrounds.
