Ok you guys, I have a prob, and I have no clue how to do it. it's kind of hard to explain. I have the letter X and around it there is supposed to be a red "shine" and it's supposed to turn from really bright into darker and so on.It's not supposed to be one color though.I hope you know what I mean. I didnt really find something in the forum, because I dont know what to search for. I attached a .gif maybe that helps to understand me.

I'm assuming you have to keep it as Vector artwork?

I often get better gradient effects on stuff like that (irregular shapes) by doing the gradients out side Flash in Illustrator or FreeHand and then importing them in.

It would be really simple as an bitmap image in PhotoShop or some other program. Tha probably doesn't help though does it?
