Sorry if this is too newbie, but I am new in action scripting. I have searched the web and can't find a good tutorial that explains how to have complete control over WHEN things happen in the timeline.
In particular, this is what I am trying to do:
-- I have a preloader that moves to frame 5 after the file loads.
-- I have a 10 second FLV file on Frame 5 that I want to play in the timeline (an intro video) and then move to the next frame (frame 6) AFTER it has completed its 10 seconds of play.
-- I want the remainder of the flash interface to start at that point, Frame 6.
So basically, how do you tell Flash to wait and complete a 10 second video clip before it moves onto the next frame without just inserting a large gap of 10 seconds of empty frames?
Thanks for any advice, or a link to a tutorial that explains this would be helpful if it is complicated.
