I have a flash page with a great amount of text, in movie properties I have made the page 2880px long and will not go any longer, 2880px is not long enough for all the text.

A message appears:

! Please enter a number between 18.00 and 2880.00 px.

That is the biggest size an swf can be(which is pretty big.) Youu will need to use a srollable textbox.

this is probably blasphemy on this site, but that much text content is probably better handled by plain ole html.

Fara, Is this some fort of sick joke? What exactly are you trying to do. Dont you realise the threat this thread is causing to the flash community. If we accept these sort of threads we are harming ourselves and the people we love.

seconde, I just don't get why it's a threat (unless u were having fun with tg), the guys just asked for something and anyone has an answer can post if. :confused:

heheheh. sfa's joke was good. the 'threat' was that i suggested html may be a 'better' medium for this project than flash (my blasphemy), thus he was going to report it to the mods.

now that it's explained, its no longer funny.
