View Full Version : bad rendering display of text in a box using a scrollbar

10-11-2007, 02:01 PM
I have a strange problem.
For displaying contents bigger than the container, I use the scrollbar (verticalscrollPolicy="on"). OK. But texts (mx:text) seem to be "jagged" or "doubled" and styles applied on texts are lost. This bad display disappears when I disabled the scrollbar (verticalscrollPolicy="off").
what happens ?
Thank you.

i've got the solution.
In the css file :

First, you embed thefont :
@font-face {
src: local("Verdana");
fontFamily: VerdanaEmbedded;
fontWeight: normal;
/*fontStyle: italic;*/
Second, you create the style with the new font and add the following :
.myGreyText {
fontFamily: VerdanaEmbedded;
fontSize: 9;
color: #ADADAD;
fontAntiAliasType :none; /*works only for embedded fonts */
fontGridFitType: subpixel; /*works only for embedded fonts */
kerning :false;

Voilą ! no more fuzzies or jaggies.
