Scrolling message?

Hi guyz,

I am after a way in flash to have a scrolling message, like the one's that featured in all those great old Amiga demo's.

I would like to be loaded from a .txt file if possible.

I know you can put a dynamic text file in a mc and scroll this, but if i changed the length of text that get's loaded in then the mc scroll may be out of sync!

Any ideas?

I'm afraid no. U may make it wider or increase it's height with the multi lines checked in its properties

I don't think you understand me,i think, i always fluff these problems :)

I'll explain in more detail.

I have a scrolling message in flash, which is loaded into a dynamic field via a .txt file which holds all the text i want to scroll.

The dynamic text field is in a mc which has a motion tween scrolling from left to right!

now if i set the tween a certain length i can scroll all the text that gets loaded in. B ut if i add a new sentance to that text, it just stops at the end of the existing text because i have only told the mc to tween that far!

Hope you understand!

I need to set some veriables or something so the text will scroll the entire contents of the .txt file load in no matter how small or large it is.
