Hello,
I work for a large company in Australia, where our network sits behind a firewall that restricts much user access to the Internet. Whilst they can view net sites, executable files cannot be downloaded. This includes the auto-install Flash/Shockwave player from Macromedia. It will not install through the firewall.
And as the player is not downloadable as an executable file, we cannot download from outside the firewall and then make the file available to others within the network.
Are there any alternative players for Windows (98/NT,2K), that can be downloaded as an executable file? (It is easy enough for one person to download this from outside the fw).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Brett
