View Full Version : Looping sound...

I made a looping homepage which contains only around 15 frames, however, the background sound I put in is much longer (100 frames perhaps...)
So, everytime the thing loops, there is another sound started... and soon it becomes a whole bunch of noise!
How can I loop the page while the sound plays on its own and loops on its own?
I wonder why nobody asked this... meow must be really dumb...

There a probably a heap of ways to do this - but one simple one might be to trigger your sound in frame 1 as an event sound and then in frame 15 use gotoAndPlay (2); to skip that event each time.

somehow the problem was fixed even though i didn't intend to fix it, so its alright (but I just feel like something else is in control...)
Also, how can I prevent that jumping / moving look when I create a motion tween or a movie clip? Is there a hotkey to just move the instance horizontally or vertically?

Sorry now I am probably being really daft - I don't understand your question..

sorrys...
ok when i create a movie clip with slight variation in the picture, how can I freely transform the image and then make sure it is in the same spot so the movie clip would not appear to slide around?

Again I'm not entirely sure what you are getting at... forgive me
However if you are wanting to make sure an MC is in the sme location across several frames or scenes, you will need to use the x and y values in the info panel.
If on the other hand you are talking about distorting your artwork and wanting to check your animation as you go - you should look into the onion-skinning feature of flash. Just look up Onion Skin in the Help section.
I hope this helps!
