I was reading the tutorial about bookmarking my website to the viewers' IE.
But IE would prompt the user by displaying a dialogue box. Is there ways to disable the dialogue box so that IE will automatically add the bookmark? ( Its probably illegal to do so..?)

I know you can, I have had it done before. I just dont know how. However, that was with IE 4.0, so they may have blocked it by now.

for example, simulate mouse events. ( make the cursor move on its own etc.)

There may be a move mouse to kinda thing, but other than that no. If you can do it with javascript, then you can have flash run that javascript via the FSCommand.

a naughty idea?
i was hoping for something a little more juicy than bookmarking hehheh.*smirk*

anyway, the bookmark thingy can be done with javascript. do a search in one of the javascript sites, or at w3school.

if all you want to do, is make it 'look' like the mouse is moving around, you can do that with flash(as long as it only has to move around - and stay inside the browser).

add to favorites (ie only)

change their homepage (heheheh)
