Link not working when I export .mov file

Hi There,

Is it not possible to have actionscript, when you export a .mov file?

It all works fine as a swf file but when I exported it into the .mov format it doesn't work anymore. The actionscript is really simple it is just a link to a url....

Appreciate yourhelp on what is probably a silly question.

Last thing I heard it is not possible to have actionscript executed when you export to a mov.
Though mind you that the last I heard it was in the AS2 era, things might have changed now.

ahhh so I have just wasted the whole day trying to figure this one out :)

The reason I exported the .mov file is because I am using the flvplayback component and I had to make it a .mov before I could make it a flv. So does that mean if you use the flv playback componet like I am doing you can't have any action script in your project or is there another way of doing this?

I appreciate your help, I am a real begginner at all this and haven't a clue what I am doing...
