Drop Down over HTML

Please help for a newb! I created a drop down menu and now have it embedded with the rest of my site in a table. The main portion of the menu shows up but the drop down will not show on top the rest of the site below. I tried wmode in transparent and opaque and also published my flash in both wmode, but still will not show. What am I doing wrong. The menu works fine alone. Please help ASAP. Thanks

Wmode has to be set to transparent, and the Flash movie embedded in a higher z-index division, not in a table.
