the only way ive been able to make something look 3d is just frame by frame, eg making each line and changing it myself to the new angle,

but the amount that it is used in other sites seems to suggest use of a programe,

ive never sen any adverts for flash 3d plug-in but im prity new to flash, so could some-one tell me some good- ones or just tell me im talking rubish and knucle down to loads of key-frames

thxs anyway
im just chexing if im rubish or just stupid

Hi

Yes there are two programmes you can try - one is Swift3D and the other is called Swish. Another easy way to do 3-D stuff is if you have a program like 3D Max or TrueSpace, just export the frames as DXF or EPS then fill the colour in Flash.

Hope that helps!

ive used loads of 3D progs lately for flash but the best one would be swift3D. its easy and quick to do 3D stuff and the most populer. i made a swf file with about 10 constantly rotating 3D cubes aswell as 3D floor and sky and i got the file size down to only 5k! and the frame rate was 40 frames a second aswell

heres the site www.swift3d.com/extreme/enter.asp

(it has cool examples of what it can do on there)

Yeah, speaking of Plasma, was anyone lucky enough to work with this one yet ? I'm a MAX-er, so have high expectations from this one ...
