First of all... please don't assume any particular knowledge on my behalf. I'm not quite a total Flash novice, but I'm not far off.
For an upcoming project, I need to have a flash movice containing several FLVs, but no visible play-buttons. Some of them will be triggered at preset points on the timeline, others will be triggered by keypresses on the keyboard. (I'm actually hoping to have them ultimately controlled by a MIDI signal - but one step at a time).
Problem is, I've never used FLV before. I've got a couple of test clips in the format, and by a tutorial I've found I've managed to get a couple of the included component buttons to work, but I don't even know where to start getting things to work the way I need them to.
Any advice, or hints?
