Moved over to Flash, then Flex, a couple of months ago - porting some recent Java games along the way.
Porting the games themselves was quite straightforward. What's taken the time is the million times I've rewritten my resource-loading code :D
Started out loading individual files (hehe - about 200 of them!), then "lumped" them up into my own format (a trick from the mobile games world), then into external swfs loaded on the fly, then one big swf built in Flash, and finally an Embed-ded single swf in Flex with a preloader! :o
Chuck in some MochiAd code iterations, and a build of another game adapted for Gimme5games.com - and you've pretty much summed up the total of my waking hours since August :D
Anyway, while the new blobbit.com site is adapted to hold the new games, you can play one of them - Blobbit Push - at Kongregate (http://kongregate.com/games/CheekyOaf/blobbit-push) and Newgrounds (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/407646).
Let me know what you think :)
