If someone posts a cross-post, and you identify it, PLEASE put a link to the other post. Otherwise, someone with a legitimate problem cannot be helped by other users without the other users having to riffle through all of the active areas in the forum for a match.

Thanks,

It's a little boring to take the link and give it for each crosspost they have I suppose. Moreover, the thing to do to haven't got this pb is NOT SENDING CROSSPOST! :p

I was just thnking something similar but...

The problem is that the crossposter wins while the person identifying the crosspost loses. The crossposter gets their link referenced all throughout the forums while the crosspost identifier is supposed to run around tracking and referncing all the crossposts.

If someone wants to help but can't find the other crosspost on their own then that's the price the crossposter pays.

If you're really eager to help a crossposter you can always search through their most recent threads by clicking the "Search" button underneath their post.

Just some ideas,

Exactly ! Don't crosspost ! If I see one here I will leave the crosspost message and delete it after a month or so ...
