View Full Version : chromless window flash on top of html page
Does anybody know how they layer this chromless window flash on top of their page? for example, http://www.substance.com/body/basics/smarks/article/0,11462,221862,00.html
Since it does not appear in Netscape I guess this is a place to start finding out how:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/how/shock/wless2/wless02.html
Hope this helps...

ok.. I know how to create chromless window but I don't know how to make it stay on the top of the html.. I guess it used z-index?? but thanks for the url. :D
ok... I think I know how they did it. USE THE AUTOTIMEOUT. With this autotimeout thing, the chromless window will stick to the top until the time is up. Duh!!!
anyway I wonder if there is any MXExtension script that can do that without having the scrollbar on the side. I like the chromeless_30.js provided by www.microbians.com but his doesn't do the timeout thing. The "MX...Splash" I downloaded from macromedia site does it but there will be a scrollbar along the side which I don't want it.
:D
