which is best?

Can any one tell me what programs I need to start learning to make games,

I have

Macromedia Dreamweaver 8
Macromedia Flash 8
Macromedia Contribute 3
Macromedia Fireworks 8

are these any good or will I need something else?

Flash 8 is what you need to learn if you'd like to make flash games. Other than that you should have Photoshop or an equivalent, but it isn't absolutely neccesary. The other three pieces of software you listed are for web design/coding.
