Basic Preloaders

I just cannot get a preloader to work. I have 100 frame tween. real basic stuff. 3 layers. It takes a while on dial up to load, so I wanted to put a preloader in. Someting simple. Just the word "Loading" or something. I copied the tutorial from here, and it just won't seem to work. Can I just be testing it wrong? I dunno what to do. Can someone please help me....before I snap this %*^&%*& keyboard over my knees!! hehehe

I'm using Flash MX

I'm trying the "ifFramesLoaded" method.
Any alternate suggestions are greatly welcome.
