Hi everyone!
Perhaps this is a dumb question, and before starting throwing rotten tomatoes at me, please give me some advice:
I just want to set a text that scrolls. I don't know how to set up the proper component. The Flash help doesn't show how to do it. How is it done?
Long beards to everyone

People!
It was a dumb question indeed... the procedure is very simple:
1. Set the desired text, in the proportions you need. In properties, change it to Dynamic Text, Multiline and Show Border Around Text.
2. Open the Components window and drag the scroll bar over your text. It'll wrap to it's size and voilá! You have a scrolling bar for your text.
3. If you need more info on working with components, there's a good step-by-step tutorial by Macromedia at
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/applications/creating_forms/creating_forms07.html
(this page is not the beggining of the tutorial, but is where it teachs how to set the scroll bar)
Farafiro, thanx for the link, but they're down for the moment.
Hope this helps someone esle.
