Flash 9 Play Something Published to Flash 8?

Just wondering if the Flash 9 player is backward compatable? Anyone know? Thanks. :confused:

Flash Player 9 is backwards compatible all the way to Flash 1. Adobe is committed to keeping all Flash content working with every new version.
