If you go to www.bumfights.com (http://www.bumfights.com) you will understand what im trying to say in this mail.

If you go to the above site and click, lets say, on downloads - just above will appear a preloader. Then a little intro for the downloads section.

How do you do this? i would like to use this in my site.

im pretty sure i need external .swf's.

But what i also dont understand, is whether you have to have the external .swf to be the exact same dimension as the box you want it to play in. or would it be possible to resize it?

Please help.

Would i need to use something like.

on (release) {
loadmovie("whatever.swf")
}

But im lost after that.

Please Help

The movies are loaded in using loadMovie. THe movies you load in must have the right dimensions to give that seemless effect. The basic idea is thsi:
1. Create an empty movieclip and put an instance of it on the stage with instance name 'holder'.
2. Add this code to a button or a frame:
holder.loadMovie("somefile.swf");
You will see that where you place the holder clip will determine where the loaded SWF appears within the main movie.
Enjoy.

Review the steps above and take a look at the attached files.

I've added this code to a button, but it doesn't work:

on (press) {
blank.loadMovie ("prueba.swf");
}

"blank" is a blank clip and "prueba.swf" is a MC.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

hi,
have you checked your path ?

maybe itīs _root.blank.loadMovie ("prueba.swf"); or something like that.

have you checked your instance names...?
