View Full Version : Simple question ( The Line Tool )

Awrighty guys, bit of a stupid one here.

Why when i draw a line with the line tool is it not straight. I do the usual (Shitf Drag mouse) but when the line is drawn it is not completly straight, ther is sort of a kink in the line. Also when i atempt to delete it i see that the line is broke into diffrent sections along the draw line.
I hope i have explained this ok.
Any ideas

Shift sure does it ok in MX .. have you tried turning on the menu option view/snap to objects?

it sounds as though something is'nt quite right though because even when you draw a rough diagonal line, it's still joined properly?? very odd!? have you had this problem the whole time you have been using Flash, or just recently?

The problem has only acurd in Flash Mx, Would it have anything to do with settings in the prefrences?
