Bluetooh.com menu

[Mnemonic]

I am trying to make my flash site. I like the main bluetooth menu, but i can't figure it out how the submenus are done. It somehow stucks.

Please help me.

Hi Mnemonic,

Just a quick tipp so far:

It seems the bluegrey fields are buttons that start the "menu-opening"-Clip on rollOver.
There's no

on(rollOut)

here, every button seems to check any other button if that one's Menu is open and in that case closes it (that means sends it to the closing-sequence). This way the menu stays open if you roll your mouse over the opened menu.

The menu is a simple Movieclip containing these highlighted buttons on top of the semi-transparent background.

There's no big deal about this I think. :D

Well, the programming is very simple, there's only button-rollovers and MCs with motion-tweening and "gotoAndPlay" stuff.

here a quick redo.

Not very pretty in coding and there are some problems (move mouse very fast over the buttons and you will see), but it works
and I hope you get the idea.
